Pushkar Lake
Pushkar Lake is one of the holiest lakes in India, revered as equal to the sacred Ganges itself. According to legend, it was created when lotus petals from Lord Brahma's hands fell to earth. Surrounded by 52 bathing ghats and over 400 temples, it attracts thousands of pilgrims who bathe in its sacred waters. Ten of its ghats are declared Monuments of National Importance.
