Puerto Madero
Puerto Madero is Buenos Aires' youngest neighborhood, transformed from an abandoned port into a modern upscale area featuring glass high-rises and red brick warehouses converted into restaurants, cafes and gelato shops. The iconic white Puente de la Mujer (Bridge of the Woman), designed by architect Santiago Calatrava and inspired by tango dancers, is a landmark. The adjacent Reserva Ecologica Costanera Sur offers 350 hectares of wetlands for nature walks.
