Puente de Piedra (Stone Bridge) is the oldest bridge in Zaragoza crossing the Ebro River, built between 1401-1440. It spans 225 meters across 7 arches and features four bronze lion statues - symbols of the city - at its ends. The bridge offers the best view of Basilica del Pilar and is an ideal photography spot.

The bridge is also known as the Bridge of Lions because since 1991, four bronze lion statues have been placed on the pillars at each end of the bridge. The statues were designed by sculptor Francisco Rallo Lahoz, and the lion is the symbol of the city of Zaragoza
