The main camping beach of the Similan Islands - Princess Beach on Koh Miang is the only place where you can overnight in the national park. Powdery white sand and crystal-clear water with excellent snorkeling right off the beach - no boat needed. National park facilities include tents, bungalows, and a restaurant serving basic Thai food. The marine life is rich with parrotfish, clownfish, and occasional sea turtles. This is the most accessible island for those wanting to experience the Similans without a liveaboard. Book accommodation well in advance during peak season.
