Presidential Palace (Grassalkovich)

The Grassalkovich Palace is a Rococo-late Baroque palace built in 1760 for Count Anton Grassalkovich. Since 1996 it serves as the official residence of the President of Slovakia. While the interior is closed to public, the beautiful French gardens behind are open for visitors. The ceremonial Changing of the Guard takes place daily at noon when the president is in residence.
