The Prater is Viennas beloved amusement park and green space, home to the iconic 65-meter Riesenrad (Giant Ferris Wheel) since 1897. Built for Emperor Franz Josefs Golden Jubilee, its one of the worlds oldest operating Ferris wheels.

Park open 24/7, free entry. Wurstelprater rides open March-October, 10:00-23:00 (Fri-Sat until 01:00). Giant Ferris Wheel Riesenrad operates year-round 10:00-21:45. Hauptallee avenue 4.5km for jogging and cycling.
