Prasat Prei
Prasat Prei is a small Buddhist temple dating from the late 12th to early 13th century, built in the Bayon style during the reign of King Jayavarman VII. The temple features a laterite gate, a library, and a cruciform sanctuary with impressive false doors. Despite its small size, the temple displays the distinctive Mahayana Buddhist architecture of that period, with Lokeshvara visible on the eastern pediment. It is a quiet, often overlooked part of the Angkor complex, ideal for visitors seeking tranquility away from the crowds.
