Prasat Kravan
Prasat Kravan, meaning 'Cardamom Flower Temple,' is a group of five red brick towers from the 10th century. Its unique feature is the remarkable bas-reliefs carved directly into the interior brick walls - a rare style in Angkor architecture. These carvings depict the god Vishnu and his consort Lakshmi in remarkable detail. The temple was built by high officials rather than kings, making it an important example of non-royal patronage in Khmer architecture.
