Prambanan is Indonesia's largest Hindu temple complex, built in the 9th century. It originally comprised 240 temples, with three main temples dedicated to the Hindu Trimurti: Shiva (47m tall), Vishnu, and Brahma. Its walls are adorned with reliefs depicting the Ramayana epic. Ramayana ballet performances are held on-site during the dry season.
