Praia da Ursa
Praia da Ursa is one of Portugal's wildest and most secluded beaches, accessible only via a steep hiking trail. It takes its name from the massive 'Bear' rock formation that resembles a bear with its cub. Located in the heart of Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, surrounded by towering cliffs and stunning rock formations. The turquoise clear waters and golden sand make it a secluded paradise worth the challenging descent. Due to difficult access, the beach remains uncrowded even during peak tourist season. No facilities - bring water, snacks, and proper hiking shoes. The 20-30 minute descent requires some scrambling over rocks.
