Prague Castle

Prague Castle is the worlds largest coherent castle complex at nearly 70,000 square meters. Founded around 880, it includes St. Vitus Cathedral, the Old Royal Palace, St. Georges Basilica, and Golden Lane. Home to Czech kings and now the presidents office.

Prague Castle is the largest castle complex in the world. The grounds are open 6:00-22:00 daily (free). Hours above are for historical buildings and museums. St. Vitus Cathedral: Mon-Sat 9:00-17:00, Sun 12:00-17:00 (summer). Last entry 30 minutes before closing.

Useful tips for visiting Prague Castle
