A massive 30-meter tall Roman triumphal column of red Aswan granite, erected in 297 AD in honor of Emperor Diocletian. It is the tallest ancient column still standing outside of Rome and Constantinople. Despite its name, it has no connection to Pompey - the name was given by medieval Crusaders.
