Point Danger is a historic lookout on the border between Queensland and New South Wales, named by Captain James Cook in 1770. The lookout offers panoramic views of the Gold Coast coastline north and Tweed Bay south. The site houses the Captain Cook Memorial and unique navigation lighthouse. Centaur Memorial Walk commemorates a hospital ship sunk in 1943. Ideal for sunrise viewing and whale watching in season.
