Best Time to Visit

May-June and September-October for pleasant weather and fewer crowds. July-August is peak season (crowded and expensive). Winter offers snow-covered scenery but Upper Lakes closed. Spring has best waterfalls from snowmelt.

From Zagreb: 2 hours by car or bus (frequent daily buses). From Split: 2.5 hours by car. From Zadar: 1.5 hours. Park has two entrances (Entrance 1 and 2). Parking available at both entrances (1 EUR/hour).

Veliki Slap (Great Waterfall) - largest in park. Lower Lakes boardwalks. Viewpoint above Kozjak Lake. Boat crossing on Lake Kozjak.
