Pirita Beach
Pirita Beach is Tallinn's largest and most popular beach stretching along the Gulf of Finland about 6 kilometers from the city center. The sandy beach is perfect for swimming and sunbathing in summer with volleyball courts, playgrounds, and seasonal beach bars. Lifeguards are on duty during the summer swimming season only. The promenade along the beach is popular for walking and jogging. Water sports like windsurfing and kiteboarding are possible. Nearby attractions include Pirita Convent ruins and Tallinn TV Tower. Accessible by buses 1A, 8, 34A, 38 from Viru Center
