Piran Town Walls
Piran Town Walls are the remains of defensive fortifications built in various stages from the 7th to early 16th century. The best-preserved section is located on Mogoron Hill southeast of town, featuring six climbable towers. The walls offer stunning panoramic views of Piran, the Slovenian coast, Italy, and Croatia on clear days. The renovated section has been reopened to visitors with information panels and magnificent views providing a unique historical experience. The climb takes 10-15 minutes from the harbor, and the walkable section along the top offers photo opportunities at every turn.
