Patriarch Ponds
Patriarch Ponds is one of Moscow's most atmospheric neighborhoods and a cult destination for Bulgakov fans. This is where "The Master and Margarita" begins, when Berlioz and Homeless meet the mysterious foreigner.
Despite the plural name, there is only one pond here. The others were filled in during the 19th century. The pond is surrounded by a cozy square with linden alleys and benches.
