Maria Luisa Park is the most famous and largest park in Seville, covering 34 hectares. Opened to the public in 1914 and redesigned for the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929. The park contains the famous Plaza de España as well as numerous fountains, sculptures, and historic buildings.
