The Parma Baptistery (1196-1307) is one of the most important medieval monuments in Europe. Designed by Benedetto Antelami, it is octagonal and built entirely of pink Verona marble. It represents the perfect transition from Romanesque to Gothic architecture.
Ticket includes Diocesan Museum. Purchase at the museum opposite the Baptistery.
