Parc des Bastions
Parc des Bastions is Geneva's oldest public park, established in 1720 on the site of the old fortifications. It houses the famous Reformation Wall, the University of Geneva, and Palais Eynard. Known for its ancient trees and oversized outdoor chess boards where locals play, it hosts various events from music festivals to Christmas markets and a winter ice rink. A perfect spot for a leisurely stroll or picnic.
