Palais Royal
Palais Royal is a historic complex featuring a 17th-century palace, beautiful gardens, and elegant arcades in the heart of Paris. The highlight is the famous Buren Columns - 260 black-and-white striped columns designed by Daniel Buren in 1986, which replaced the former courtyard parking lot. The perfectly manicured gardens with rows of lime trees and flower beds offer a tranquil oasis away from city bustle. Surrounding arcades house antique shops and historic cafés. The palace itself houses the Council of State and Ministry of Culture.
