Palacio da Alvorada
Palacio da Alvorada is the official residence of the President of Brazil, designed by Oscar Niemeyer and built in 1958 as the first building in the new Brasilia. The palace features distinctive white columns with a curved shape that have become a symbol of modern Brazilian architecture. Located on the shores of Lake Paranoa surrounded by beautiful tropical gardens, the palace represents the dawn of a new era in Brazilian politics. While visitors cannot enter the palace itself, they can view the facade and gardens from the exterior and photograph this iconic building.
