Oslo Opera House
The Oslo Opera House, designed by architectural firm Snøhetta and opened in 2008, is one of the most striking modern buildings in Europe. Its white marble and pale granite roof slopes directly into the waters of Oslofjord, allowing visitors to walk on the roof for panoramic views of the city and harbor. The building contains 1,100 rooms across 49,000 square meters and is home to the Norwegian National Opera and Ballet. The interior is equally stunning with Norwegian oak and timber creating a warm atmosphere.
