Ortaköy Mosque (Grand Mecidiye Mosque)
Ortaköy Mosque sits right on the Bosphorus waterfront and is one of Istanbul's most photographed mosques. Built in 1856 in Ottoman Baroque style, it features a unique location next to the Bosphorus Bridge. The surrounding neighborhood is filled with boutique shops, cafes, and bakeries famous for kumpir (stuffed baked potatoes).
