Nizhne-Volzhskaya Embankment
One of the longest streets in Nizhny Novgorod, stretching over 3 km along the Volga from Kazansky Descent to Kanavinsky Bridge. A two-level promenade with an upper level featuring a roadway and pedestrian zone, and a lower level closer to the water. Originally designed in the 1830s by architects Efimov and Gotman. Key landmarks along the route include Chkalov Staircase, one of the longest in Russia, the torpedo boat monument 'Hero', and the 'Deer' sculpture, the symbol of Nizhny Novgorod. Popular for walking, cycling, and enjoying panoramic Volga views toward Strelka and Alexander Nevsky Cathedral
