Nid d'Aigle (Eagle's Nest) is La Digue's highest point at 333 metres, offering 360-degree panoramic views of La Digue, Praslin, Felicite, and Marianne islands. The trail starting behind Belle Vue Restaurant is one of the steepest nature trails on La Digue, covering 1.4 km and taking about 54 minutes. Rated moderately challenging with steep and slippery sections. Bring good footwear, plenty of water, and start early. Do NOT hike when raining - the trail becomes very slippery. Best views July through November.
