Ngorongoro Crater is the world's largest unflooded volcanic caldera, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known as 'Africa's Eden'. At 600m deep and 20km across, the crater hosts approximately 25,000 animals including all Big Five. This is Tanzania's best place to see the endangered black rhino. The Maasai people traditionally live on the crater rim with their herds.
