New Uzbekistan Park
New Uzbekistan Park is the largest recreational park in Tashkent, opened in 2021 to mark the 30th anniversary of Uzbekistan's independence. Spanning 104 hectares, it features the 60-meter-tall Independence Stele crowned by the mythical Humo bird. The park includes an amphitheater for 5,000 people, tree-lined pathways, fountains, and sculptures depicting 3,000 years of Uzbek history. Over 10,000 trees and shrubs of 235 species fill the park.
