Navagio Beach (Shipwreck Beach)
The most photographed beach in the world - a secluded cove with brilliant turquoise waters surrounded by towering 200m white limestone cliffs. Named after the smuggling ship MV Panagiotis that ran aground here in 1980. Access is only by boat from Porto Vromi or Agios Nikolaos. Since 2024, landing on the beach is prohibited due to rockfall danger, but boat tours stop nearby for viewing and swimming.
