The National Palace is the official seat of the President of the Dominican Republic. Built between 1944 and 1947 in neoclassical style, it features a majestic dome, marble columns, and opulent interiors. The building contains 45 rooms including reception halls and administrative offices. While the interior is not usually open to the public, the impressive exterior architecture can be admired from the street.
