National Museum Yangon
National Museum Yangon spans 5 floors covering Myanmar's history from ancient to modern times. The star exhibit is the Lion Throne (Sihasana) of the last Burmese king, an elaborately carved and gilded royal seat. Collections include royal regalia, traditional costumes, musical instruments, and archaeological finds from across Myanmar. Bags must be left in free lockers before entering. Photography is restricted in some areas. Allow 1.5-2 hours to explore the main exhibits. Closed on Mondays and public holidays
