National Arboretum Canberra
The National Arboretum Canberra spans 250 hectares and is home to over 44,000 rare and endangered trees from around the world. Established after the devastating 2003 bushfires, it has become a place of beauty, conservation, scientific research, and recreation. The site offers breathtaking views across the Brindabella Range and Canberra's skyline. Highlights include the award-winning Pod Playground with acorn-shaped climbing structures, the Wide Brown Land labyrinth sculpture, and artistically designed forest gardens. Entry is free and the on-site cafe serves excellent coffee with views.
