No entrance fee for the island itself. Island hopping tours (includes Naked, Daku, and Guyam islands) cost ₱1,250-1,500 per person for joiner tours with lunch, or ₱3,000-6,800 for private boat rental. Small environmental fees (₱20-50) may apply.
Best from March to May (dry season) for calmest seas and sunny weather. Visit early morning (9-10 AM) when the sand is cooler and before the midday sun becomes intense. Bring sun protection as there is absolutely no shade on the island. Avoid typhoon season (July-October) when tours may be cancelled.
Only accessible by boat from General Luna. Join a Tri-Island Hopping Tour (most popular option, ₱1,250-1,500 including lunch) or hire a private boat (₱3,000-6,800). Tours can be booked at the General Luna Tourism Office, through hotels, or from tour operators along the beach. Boat ride takes approximately 20-30 minutes.
Expect a minimalist paradise - a pure white sandbar with no trees, structures, or shade. The island is small (you can walk around it in 5-10 minutes) but incredibly photogenic. Waters are calm and clear, great for swimming. Bring sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, and an umbrella for shade. Some tours provide beach umbrellas. Snorkeling is possible but marine life is limited. The experience is about the unique landscape and photo opportunities.
faq.subtitle Naked Island
The island is called "Naked" because it has absolutely no vegetation, trees, or structures - just bare white sand. Unlike other Philippine islands covered in palm trees and tropical plants, this sandbar is completely exposed, or "naked," making it unique in the region.
The Tri-Island Tour typically includes: boat transportation to all three islands (Naked, Daku, and Guyam), buffet lunch on Daku Island with grilled seafood and local dishes, entrance/environmental fees, and a tour guide. Some tours also stop at a secret sandbar. Duration is 4-5 hours. Bring your own snorkeling gear or rent at Guyam Island.
