Nakamise Street
Nakamise Street is Japan's oldest shopping street, stretching approximately 250 meters from the iconic Kaminarimon Gate to Sensoji Temple. Over 90 shops line both sides selling traditional sweets, senbei (rice crackers), fans, kimonos, and souvenirs. The Edo-period atmosphere comes alive here with traditional wooden buildings and red lanterns. Must-try treats include fresh ningyo-yaki (doll-shaped cakes) and aji-nori (seasoned seaweed). Early morning offers the best photo opportunities with fewer crowds.
