Museum of Modern Art
The Museum of Modern Art (MAM) is one of the oldest modern art museums in Latin America, founded in 1948. Located within the scenic Ibirapuera Park, it houses over 5,000 works by the biggest names in Brazilian modern and contemporary art. Visitors are greeted at the entrance by a massive artwork by the graffiti artists OSGEMEOS. Museum highlights include the giant bronze spider sculpture 'Maman' by Louise Bourgeois. The location within the park offers a unique experience combining nature and art, making it perfect for a cultural day out.
