Museum of the Revolution
The Museum of the Revolution is housed in the former Presidential Palace, built between 1913 and 1920 and used by several Cuban presidents, the last being Fulgencio Batista. The building features interiors designed by Tiffany & Co. and a Room of Mirrors modeled after Versailles. The museum chronicles the Cuban Revolution through an extensive collection of weapons, photographs, documents, and artifacts. Outside, you can see the famous Granma yacht that brought Fidel Castro, Che Guevara, and 80 revolutionaries from Mexico to Cuba in 1956. Guided tours in Spanish and English are available.
