Munch Museum
The Munch Museum houses the world's largest collection of works by Norwegian artist Edvard Munch, featuring nearly 27,000 artworks including three versions of his iconic painting 'The Scream'. The 13-storey building in the Bjørvika waterfront district leans 20 degrees toward the Oslofjord, offering spectacular waterfront views. Opened in October 2021, the museum is a modern architectural masterpiece hosting permanent and temporary exhibitions across multiple floors, with restaurants, cafes, and a rooftop terrace overlooking the city and fjord.
