Mount Pilatus
Mount Pilatus is a legendary 2,132m peak rising above Lake Lucerne, famous for having the world's steepest cogwheel railway at 48% gradient. The popular Golden Round Trip combines the cogwheel train from Alpnachstad with the aerial cableway to Kriens. At the summit you will find breathtaking panoramic views of 73 Alpine peaks, hiking trails, a rotating restaurant, and the Dragon Museum inspired by local dragon legends.
