Mossy Forest sits atop Gunung Brinchang at 2000 meters elevation and is one of the world's oldest rainforests, dating back over 130 million years. It features an otherworldly atmosphere where moss and ferns blanket every surface - from giant trees to rocks and roots. Dense mist envelops the area most of the time, creating a mysterious, enchanting ambiance. An elevated wooden boardwalk extending about 200 meters allows exploration without damaging the fragile ecosystem. The forest is home to rare carnivorous plants, unique bird species, and colorful butterflies. A registered guide is mandatory for entry due to conservation requirements. The steep and narrow roads require a 4WD vehicle or jeep transport to reach the entrance.
