How to Get There
Minneriya National Park is 180 km from Colombo (4-5 hours drive). Nearest town is Habarana. From Colombo by bus to Habarana or Polonnaruwa. Safaris organized from Habarana, Sigiriya, and Dambulla. Jeep safari costs about 40-60 USD per vehicle for 4 hours. Best time to see elephants is June-September (The Gathering). Park entry about 25 USD.
