Mina
Mina, known as the City of Tents, is a valley east of Mecca that transforms into the world's largest temporary tent city during Hajj. It houses over 100,000 air-conditioned tents accommodating millions of pilgrims. Here pilgrims stay during the days of Tashriq and perform the Stoning of the Devil ritual at Jamarat Bridge. The area is associated with the story of Prophet Ibrahim, his son Ismail, and the sacrifice. The tent city features fire-resistant materials and modern amenities for pilgrim safety and comfort.
