How to Get There

Matinloc Shrine is part of Tour C island-hopping from El Nido. Book Tour C (₱1,300/person) from any tour operator in El Nido town. The tour includes Hidden Beach, Secret Beach, Helicopter Island, and Tapiutan Island. The shrine visit is optional with an additional ₱200 entrance fee paid on-site.

What to Expect

Explore abandoned chapel and meditation ruins covered in vegetation. Climb a steep limestone formation (about 50 steps) to reach the famous viewpoint with 360-degree views of El Nido's islands. See religious statues and remnants of the 1980s shrine. Local legend says the place is haunted. Sturdy footwear recommended for the rocky climb. Snorkeling possible near the shrine's pier.
