Market Square (Rynek)
Wroclaw's Market Square is one of the largest medieval market squares in Europe at 213 by 178 meters. It features stunning colorful buildings from various architectural periods surrounding the famous 13th-century Gothic Town Hall. In the center of the square you will find historic trading buildings and numerous restaurants and cafes with outdoor seating. The square is the center of social and cultural life in the city, hosting events throughout the year including the famous Christmas market from late November to January. The Town Hall cellar houses the oldest restaurant in Poland. The Town Hall also contains the Museum of Bourgeois Art with free admission on Thursdays
