Mariposa Grove is the largest grove of giant sequoias in Yosemite, containing over 500 mature trees. The most famous is the Grizzly Giant, approximately 2,700 years old and one of the oldest living things on Earth. Various trails offer opportunities to walk among these giants that reach heights of 60 meters and circumferences of 30 meters.
