Marinid Tombs are ruins of 14th-century royal tombs located on a hill north of the old city. Though the buildings are largely destroyed, the site offers the best panoramic view of all Fes. The sunset view from here is unforgettable, as city rooftops turn golden then lights come on. Access by taxi or walking uphill from Bab Guissa. Caution advised in evening and going with company recommended.
