Maria Theresa Street
Maria Theresa Street is one of Innsbruck's most famous streets and a glorious remnant of the city's 700-year baroque past. This pedestrian promenade is lined with aristocratic palaces, cafes, shops, and landmarks like St. Anne's Column and the Triumphal Arch. The view from the column looking north showcases the Nordkette peaks rising above the Golden Roof - one of Innsbruck's most photographed scenes.
