Mangalartha
Mangalartha is a small 13th-century Hindu temple located east of Angkor Thom. It consists of a single sanctuary without an enclosing wall. Built during the reign of King Jayavarman VIII, who returned the empire to Hindu worship after a Buddhist period. It is considered one of the last major temples built at Angkor. An inscription dating to 1295 documents its construction, providing valuable historical information about the late Angkorian period.
