Mamayev Kurgan

Mamayev Kurgan is a memorial to the heroes of the Battle of Stalingrad, featuring the 85m Motherland Calls statue. Height 102.0 was a key position during 200 days of fighting in 1942-1943. Opened in 1967. The ascent passes through reliefs, squares, and the Hall of Military Glory with the Eternal Flame. Free admission, open 24/7.
