Maligne Canyon
Maligne Canyon is the deepest accessible canyon in the Canadian Rockies, reaching depths of up to 50 meters. The waters of the Maligne River carved this dramatic limestone gorge over thousands of years. Six bridges cross the canyon, offering stunning views of waterfalls, eroded rock formations, and turquoise waters. In winter, the canyon transforms into a magical realm of frozen waterfalls and ice formations, with guided icewalk tours available. Note: Due to the 2024 Jasper wildfire, access may be limited through 2026.
