From General Luna, rent a scooter (₱350-400/day) and ride 45 minutes northeast to Pilar municipality. Follow signs to Magpupungko. Alternatively, hire a habal-habal (motorcycle taxi) for ₱300-400 one way. Organized tours from General Luna cost ₱800-1,200 including other stops.
Expect stunning natural rock pools filled with crystal-clear turquoise water during low tide. The main pool reaches depths of 3+ meters, perfect for swimming and cliff jumping. Smaller shallow pools are great for relaxing. The surrounding rock formations are impressive for photography. Facilities include restrooms, small food stalls, and equipment rental. The beach area is also beautiful. Note that pools completely disappear at high tide.
